Healthy Savings Study presentation

On February 22, 2022,  Dr. Glanz presented to the Center for Childhood Cancer Research (CCCR) at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The topic was the “Impact of Real-Time Incentives on Fruit and Vegetable Purchases and Diet.”

The objectives of the seminar were to understand the challenges of ensuring healthy diets for low-income families with children, and the potential for price reductions and financial incentives for healthier food purchases. Attendees, both in-person and virtual, learned about the Health Saving Study, how it was designed, as well as the effective recruitment strategies for community research during the COVID pandemic.
